Ducted systems hide the mess. The dust and mould are not on the filter, they grow further in on the coils and in the drain tray, which is exactly why rinsing the filter alone never fixes the smell. The Reusable Ducted Aircon Maintenance Cleaning Kit is the ducted equivalent of our split system kit: everything you need to clean the filter properly and treat the airflow so the musty smell does not just come straight back.

What it does

• Clears the dust and debris from your filter with the premium filter brush before you even reach for water.
• Deep cleans using the 7.5m spring hose with adjustable nozzle and the Viper Evap+ solution, breaking down grease and grime build-up without damaging the filter.
• Treats the airflow with two 100g anti-mould diffusers, one for each side of a twin system, giving 8 to 12 weeks combined protection. Actives are validated by Eurofins and reduce up to 99% of airborne mould and bacteria.

Why do it yourself

A professional ducted clean is one of the more expensive call-outs going, and most of what they charge for is the same 20 minutes per filter you can do yourself with the right gear. No power tools, no chemicals you cannot pronounce, no one in your ceiling space charging by the hour.
